I'm 25 and my dad claim me , I'm not in school and made only 2,600 in 2016. Did I qualify as his dependent?

I just want to know if I qualify ? Because if I didn't , I would like to file my own tax , I know that I would check the box that says yes someone can claim me & now what box do I check next ? Is it no , they didn't claim me or yes they will claim ? If I don't qualify ? Does that means they didn't claim me? I'm so confuse, please help !

Yes, he can claim you because your income was under $4050. The student status only matters if you are under 24.

You can still file a tax return to get any income tax withholding refunded. You check the box that say you can be claimed by someone else.

Because you are someone else's dependent, you are not eligible for the approximate $200 Earned Income Credit
