I just filed my taxes efile and i found a mistake. can i correct that now?

I just filed my taxes efile and sent to IRS but I haven't posted my 1040NR yet. So do I need to post my current 1040NR first or no? If no, can I amend the efile now or no?

What do you mean you haven't posted it yet? Did you file a 1040 Non-Resident Return? We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

You cannot use TurboTax for a Form 1040NR.  TurboTax does not support 1040NR for a non-resident alien.  Did you use TT by mistake or did you use TT's partner---sprintax--as you were supposed to?

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:

I mean after I filing the tax form online, they said they have efiled my federal tax return to IRS. And they asked me to download my federal tax return and state tax return, sign and post to IRS. But I haven't sign and post to IRS yet.

To clarify, what do you mean by efiling your return but not posting your 1040 NR? What return did you file to the IRS?

I mean after following the sprintax process, they told me my federal tax return has already efiled to IRS. And they told me that I need to print, sign and mail physically the both federal tax return and state tax return to IRS, also for my 1040NR. I mean I haven't done print, sign and physically mail. The pictures are what sprintax sent me.

Please read the Sprintax page carefully - it  does not say that you need to mail a copy of your federal tax return anywhere. Instead, it tells you how to view and save a copy of your federal return.

It does, however, tell you to mail your state tax return.

If the change is on your federal return, you will need to amend your return. To do this, you will need to wait until the IRS has finished processing your return (generally 3 weeks or when you get your refund). You should go back to Sprintax and ask about the amendment process.

No, but on the sprintax automatic email after I filing the forms, and my 1040-NR, they all told me that I need to mail the federal tax return and state tax return
