I just amended my returns and it only adjusted state, do I still need to mail in the federal amended?

I entered in the incorrect amount from my W2 for state income tax.

No, you do not as long as your federal amendment did not change. If the amount of your refund or amount due to the IRS did not change, you do not have to file that federal amendment.
