I have the wrong routing/banking number on file but I received a paper check for my state income return. Will I get a paper check for my federal income?

Also it's been weeks since I received my state income return. When should I get my federal returb?

Yes, If you chose Direct Deposit and the bank rejected your refund because the account information was incorrect, the IRS will send you a paper check.

It will take approximately 3-5 weeks for your check to arrive. It will be sent to the address listed on your return.
