I have not yet received the refund amount I was supposed to get from NJ last year in the State and Local Tax Refund Summary section. Should I enter this amount as 0?

I plan to contact the NJ tax authorities to claim the refund I didn’t receive last year. Could you please advise on how to correctly report this in TurboTax? Thank you.

Once TurboTax releases the tax file to the government we no longer have any control over it.

We may get a notification that we promptly forward to you.

You can  Check your State Refund.

If you are not an itemizer of tax deductions, you can ignore the NJ refund, whether still outstanding or not.
