I have filed my taxes and they are showing pending are they considered filed before the April 18th 2023 deadline

The date/time you e-filed your return is the date/time that'll be used to determine if it's on time.  It may take a couple of days for the agencies to acknowledge your filing but that original date/time will be used to determine if it's on time.  So as long as you e-filed before the deadline, they're considered on time!

If your return is pending, you should be fine. Your submitted e-filed return doesn't need to be accepted on April 18 for it to be considered on-time.
