I have been using turbo tax at least 10 years. I am trying to get a copy of 2016 taxes online but I am having no luck with your company. What should I try next.

You likely have multiple accounts (User IDs) without realizing it and signed into the wrong one.  This is one of the more common questions in the forum.

You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes.  A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be.  It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.

To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, you can use the tool at the link below.  Try using your phone number first.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method:

Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

Was the 2016 return prepared in Online TurboTax?
Can you not find the account that has your past returns, including 2016?
Or have you found the 2016 return, but when you try to view/download/print, does it ask you to pay to access it?

No I still can't find it. I wont need to print it, I just need one piece of info from it. It appears to be lost as a result of a windows upgrade to windows 10. I have only used 2 different emails over the past few years and can not understand why it wouldn't be under the info with these 2.

After you tried the Account Recovery tool in my Answer, did you use the "Try something else" (the blue link method) that I mentioned in my Answer below to have it look you up by SSN and other questions?   If so, and still can't find it, we can tell you how to speak to TurboTax Support so they can help you troubleshoot.  Here's how to request a call back:

Do you just need the 2016 AGI?   Here's another alternative:

You may be able to immediately download a 2016 return transcript at this IRS website at the link below if you qualify to open an account there.  If you don't qualify to download one there, you can order one to come by postal mail, but that takes 5-10 calendar days.
