I have a form cp16 which is a refund. Will the refund be deposited or sent by check?

Go to this IRS website for a CP16 notice - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp16-notice

 

If you receive any refund after this notice, how it is sent is up to the IRS.

I understand that but I have received my 2019 refund and it was deposited. I was just trying to see if someone who had received a cp16 before was their refund direct deposited because I’m hoping they direct deposit mine.
