I had to print my latest tax return using TurboTax. TurboTax did not convert my file to a pdf so I can get a copy. Is there a way to print it?

It only provides a .tax file. I think TT thinks I didn't file, so it didn't create the PDF.

Tax tools

Print

If you have paid for your return you will be able to print from the tax tools menu.

You must have clicked on the wrong button.  Are you looking for the 2024 pdf or a prior  year?

Before filing you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return. You have to pay any fees first before you can see all the forms, etc.

Let me clarify. I used TT online not the desktop version. My tax return was digitally rejected so I had to print and mail it. It was accepted via mail. TT thinks I need to amend it so I can file so it doesn't give me the pdf version of my return. I paid for the service.

It is early in the season and TurboTax has not run the job that converts all of the returns to a pdf.  That will happen automatically at some point.
