I had filed my taxes on February 5th of this year. Turbo tax says it has been accepted, irs.gov website, it says I must wait 24hours to even check my status. What's wrong

It says accepted on turbo tax, but the it's website is staying I must wait 24 hours to check where my refund is. I do believe there is NO mistakes. It has been accepted.

If you efiled, double-check with this tool to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted.  Does it confirm that it was accepted?

If that showed it was accepted, and since you said it's obviously been longer than 24 hours since acceptance, then it should show up in the IRS WMR tool here:
http://www.irs.gov/Refunds

Be sure you are entering just the  Federal refund amount, and not including any State refund.

And be sure you are using the actual Federal refund amount without regard to any TurboTax fees if you chose to pay any fees out of the refund.

View/print your return and look at the actual refund amount showing:

If you filed a Form 1040, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 76a.
If you filed a Form 1040A, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 48a.
If you filed a Form 1040EZ, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

If it still doesn't show up in WMR when you use the figure straight from the return, I know another way to get the most accurate refund figure to use.

Are you saying the WMR website won't let you use it?    Or did you try to use it, and it didn't find your info?   If it's not finding your info, I can tell you most likely why.

You can also doublecheck with this tool to see if it was accepted:

I went to irs.gov and clicked the where's my refund, I provided it with the correct information and it said something went wrong so I typed in further information and then it says that I must wait 24 hours after a email had been provided saying it has been accepted but turbo tax says it has been.

Watch for my answer below on how to make sure it is correct.   If your info is correct, then it should find it.
Anytime it can't find someone it mentions that "wait 24 hours", since a lot of people try too soon.   So pay no attention to that.

See the answer below.  If your efiling was accepted, but now you can't find your status at WMR, then you are likely not entering correct info.
