I got approved for the refund advance but was unable to get into my credit karma because my phone number had changed an it would not let me change it.

The Refund Advance is only offered by Credit Karma. The only way to get the advance is by applying for it when you choose your refund method. If you have been approved, but can't get into your Credit Karma account because of your phone number, you would need to reach out to Credit Karma Support for assistance.
