Was the email from a Turbo Tax address? Also, here's a link on how to avoid phishing scams: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/security/help/avoid-phishing-scams-and-spoofed-sites/00/26449

Dear Jeffery,

We are writing to inform you that as of November 12, 2019, the recipient of a Person to Person transfer can no longer use PayPal to receive the funds that you have sent from your debit account.

In the meantime, there are other ways to send money!

  • Initiate a Person to Person transfer to another registered Green Dot accountholder

  • Use a MoneyPak to deposit money to a prepaid or bank debit card. Visit MoneyPak.com for terms, conditions and eligible cards. Must be 18 or older to use this product. Retail service fee and limits apply.     Thats what email said

@Jeff8710

I'm a fellow user in this community forum.   You have to be careful. There are occasionally various spoofing emails that appear to come from Intuit/TurboTax, but this message sounds like it may have come from one of your financial accounts or pretending to be so.

You need to be sure that no one has tried to send money out of your debit account to a PayPal account.

Are you sure it was from "TurboTax", or could it appear to be from the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card?   The Turbo Prepaid Visa Card is not the same as "TurboTax."  The email used the phrase  "your debit account" and mentions "Green Dot."   It sounds more like it could be from your debit card company.

In any case, don't click on any links or download any attachments or reply to the email.  The other comments in this thread told you how to report the email to TurboTax/Intuit.

If you think the email is allegedly from the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card's customer service, you can phone the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card customer service to investigate the email.  (888) 285-4169.

Again, do not click on any links or download any attachments, and don't reply to the email in case it is not legitimate.
