I got a W2-C from my employer. How do I file an amended return for 2022? The instructions in the TurboTax help section are incorrect.

The instructions say to sign in, go to the home screen, look for returns and documents, and select amend and then amend the return. However, these instructions do not match the way the site is currently organized. I managed to find my prior year returns, but I can only download a PDF. I do not see any options to amend through TurboTax. Can anyone help?

@siusanne-nichols

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year 2022 and Click on Amend (change) 2022 return

What did they change on your W2?  You might not need to amend for it.

I have already been told by my employer that this change requires filing an amended return. My question is how to do that in Turbotax. The instructions in the help section do not match the current navigation of the site.

Thank you! This is what I was looking for. It wasn't clear to me before that I had to start a 2023 return to find the correct section.
