I got a letter from the state of NY stating that my recent filing was incomplete. I need to submit it again long with a form IT-201 How do I do this with TurboTax?

Form IT-201 is the main tax return for New York residents. If you did a resident return, IT-201 is already in TurboTax.

 

You should print your New York tax return again:

 

    1. Login to your return.
    2. Scroll down to Your tax return & documents, click Show on the right.
    3. Select 2019 and then click Download/ print return (PDF).

 

When you go through the print out, look for Form IT-201, this is the beginning of your state  tax return.
