@carmelinab7 You are posting to a thread that has had no activity since 2019.    The thread began with someone who received a request for information from their state.   Once you file your tax return, TurboTax gets no information from the IRS or your state.  Your information has to come from the IRS about your federal return or from your state for your state return.

Okay, so if I get a message from the state about return does that have to do with federal return with the irs 

No, if you get a message about a state return, it doesn't have anything to do with your federal return filed with the IRS.
