I got a letter from IRS to mail/fax a 1095a and a 8962 form. How will I know they have received it?

Hi! 

Could anyone please tell me which number to call IRS on so I can confirm with them if they’ve received my faxed documents? (1095A + 8962) 

 

I called their regular 800...1040 number but... after waiting for 2 hours, the lady was pretty rude and said there was no way to confirm they’ve received the faxed documents. Any help would be appreciated.... I don’t see any number provided on my letter except for the 1040 number.

You would need to contact the IRS for further assistance regarding this matter. Their phone number is 800-829-1040 and may I suggest contacting them as early as 7am, since the call volume is quite low during that time.
