I gave a routing number for my bank that is a "Wire Transfer" number not one that will be directly deposited into my bank, so I will never get the money. What to do?

I did the same thing, my tax return was accepted on January 12th and I still haven't received it. So  I contacted bank of America, the representative it doesn't make a difference it will still be deposited into your account. Wire routing numbers are usually for larger amounts  so it won't affect the deposit. Hopefully she was right and we get our refund soon good luck (:

I just spoke to a Bank of America representative and she told me the exact opposite and that it will probably be rejected. Did your get deposited yet?

There's nothing you can do but be more careful next time.

What anamauleon stated is incorrect. BOA will reject the return within 5 business days. Then the IRS will mail out a check. The entire process can take up to 5 weeks.
