If your tax return has been accepted by the IRS you'll need to amend your return to include the additional form. The amendment form, 1040x, will be available soon. Once the form is final, you can use the FAQ below to assist you with amending the return. If your return has been rejected, you can fix any rejection errors, add the 1099-R, and re-file the return. If your tax return is still pending, you'll have to wait until it's either Accepted or Rejected and proceed accordingly.
