RI Schedule W contains the information from the W-2's and 1099's that you reported on your tax return.
On page 4 of the link below is a copy of a Schedule W for RI Residents, so you can see what kind of information it contains.

Does the status indicate they want to a copy of your Schedule W along with copies of your W-2's and 1099's you reported? If so, they may want to verify the information that was reported, and your completed Schedule W should be among the Rhode Island tax return that you submitted with TurboTax.
It didn’t say. It just said there was an issue with the schedule w. It didn’t offer any other explanation or solution. I looked into the schedule W and it seemed it was in regards to estates and trusts which I don’t have and I filed with TurboTax e-file so no forms were required to be submitted. I have not been informed of anything by mail just saw this on the online where’s my refund page for RI state refunds. I have already received my CT refund and my federal is supposed to be deposited this week. All of my refunds show “accepted” through the TurboTax page.
I see, yes if they need something from you in order to continue processing your refund, but they weren't specific with their message on the status, then they will mail you a letter detailing everything that they need. It might take a couple of weeks for it to get to you.

So if there’s a problem and I have to physically mail them my return, I paid TurboTax to submit my return so would that be credited back to me? TurboTax claimed my return was all set so if not what’s my options?
The same exact thing happened to me. Not sure why. I'll be calling RI tomorrow
I spoke to them and it ended up being that they didn’t receive a copy of my W2s. One of them was from 2017. I just had to email them a photo of my W2 and they took care of it the same day. I called around lunch time and was on hold less than 10 minutes (Incase that helps haha).
