I filed my return this morning. Then I remembered, I didn't write off my agent/manager commissions. Can I still write it off on this year's return?

If you have already filed, wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected by the IRS.

If your return is rejected. you can correct any errors on the return and add your agent's commissions, then resubmit.

If your return is accepted, you need to file an amended return to add the agent's commissions.

If you expect a refund, wait until you receive the refund before submitting your amended return.

What about the state return? NY State has not accepted my return as of yet. But, because my federal was accepted, I cannot change it on the website. Is there a way to change it with the state and send an amended return for the federal later?

The same applies for your state return. Wait to see whether the state accepts or rejects your return. In TurboTax, information is entered in the federal section and will flow to the state section. But you can always choose to send your amended federal return later.
