I filed my federal and state at the same time. My states status is still pending. Why would it be ifiled both on the 15th.

State is still pending status

The state tax return will remain Pending until the IRS officially starts accepting 2024 federal tax returns on January 17, 2025

State and federal are totally independent of each other and each has its own timetable.
