you will now need to purchase a desktop version of Turbotax for 2023. you will also have to upload the xxxx.tax2023 to your desktop to finish the return. you will not be able to e-file it. Did you finish the 2023 return? You can just print it out and mail it now. Make sure the $600 is entered on schedule 3 line 10 which goes to 1040 line 31.

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2024 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2024.
Your 2023 return must be filed by mail. Make sure to sign and date it in ink. If it is a joint return it must be signed by both spouses.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
