I filed an amended return in 2022, how do I import it into 2023 turbo tax to start a return?

I tried to import it but turbo tax said file invalid.

When you start a 2023 tax return you will be given a list of the 2022 tax data files that are available to transfer to the 2023 return.  The 2022 tax data files that you saved are stored by default in the TurboTax folder within the Documents directory.

Did you save the 2022 amended return?  Is it listed in the TurboTax folder?

What program did you use to amend the 2022 tax return?  The 2022 desktop CD/Download editions or the 2022 online editions?

Which TurboTax program are you using for tax year 2023?
