I feel like I did not amend my tax return right, will I be getting the $9497 direct deposited to my account and the $6 or am I only getting the $6.

Is the amended amount separate from the original amount?

you will be getting an additional $6 on top of what you will be getting back  from your return

Don't feel. Look. Print out your Form 1040X and examine it to see what will happen.
