I entered my employer id , it is same as last years employer. In the last 5 years everytime I did that. Turbotax brought up my w-2 I never had to pt the informatiom past that in. I did it on my phone and now PC twice. and I don't see where to have if find

If the import function isn't working then check with your employer and see if the W-2s are ready to be imported ... they have to put them online and it may just be too soon.

Employers are not required to issue the W-2 until January 31.  You're probably trying too early.
