Are you referring to the 2017 AGI?  If you did not file a 2017 federal tax return, then enter a 0 (zero) for the 2017 AGI.
Otherwise, look at your 2017 tax return for the AGI:
Form 1040 – Line 37
Form 1040A – Line 21
Form 1040EZ – Line 4

They don’t have any numbers from the paperwork we got so I don’t know what to do also me and my husband filed together and it’s asking for just one of ours

If you filed as Married Filing Jointly in 2017 then the 2017 AGI is the same for both of you.

If you can't e-File, your alternative is to file on paper via US Mail.
