Form 1040X: Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return is used to make corrections or changes to a return that has already been
accepted by – or mailed to – the IRS.

When
you're done amending, TurboTax will provide instructions to print and
mail your amended return (Form 1040X). This is because the amended
return cannot be e-filed.
You'll have to finish the 'amend interview' and print the forms
after everything is completed.
