I do not see a line 46 on my 1040 however when filing my FAFSA it requires me to input that amount. Any idea why is not on my documents?

If your tax return does not include a Schedule 2, which has a Line 46, then there is nothing to subtract from the Form 1040 Line 13 for the FAFSA application.
