I claimed two dependents on my stimulus application. But I only received the 1200 i didnt receive the extra 500$ for each child. how do i fix this or report this?

Now you must wait for the IRS letter that will come in the next 2 weeks explaining what they did and instructions on what to do if the amount is not correct.  

@skeiser1985 - please review your tax return.  look where the children and listed and WAY OVER to the right, there are check marks under either 'child tax credit' or 'other dependent tax credit' 

if the check mark is under 'child tax credit', then the error is with the IRS. wait for the letter as @Critter suggested.

if the check mark is under 'other dependent tax credit', there is an error in how you answered the questions when filing.  THAT is why the $500 is missing.  Post back if this is the case and I can provide some recommendations for a path forward.
