I checked dependent when I filed taxes, but my parents later found out I made to much to be claimed. Will I get a COVID stimulus check?

I'm in the same situation. Will I still receive a stimulus check? If I file an amended tax return to change this, will I be able to claim one then if I didn't previously?

According to the TurboTax Stimulus check FAQ, If you’ve been claimed as a dependent on someone else’s 2019 tax return, you aren’t eligible to receive a stimulus check.

As of 4/6/2020, no guidance has been issued relating to individuals who want to amend after stating on their original returns that someone else had claimed them as a dependent.
