I can’t find my bank on here to fill out my 1098 and I never received one in the mail what should I do?

Do you mean a 1098 for mortgage interest?   Have you tried going on the lender's web site to get a copy?  Or have you called your lender?    It might just still be in the mail.  They have until January 31 to mail them and you have to allow some time for the mailman to deliver it.

What kind of 1098 or do you mean a 1099-INT?   All you need to enter for bank interest is the:

• bank name (does not need to be in the list, you are not going to import it - just type it in), and
• the amount of interest goes in Box 1.

If you are referring to a different form, please advise.  What if I didn't get Form 1099-INT from my bank?
