I bought a house with my boyfriend, none of my income directly goes to the mortgage but my SS# is on the 1098. Do I put any of the 1098 info on my taxes?

It depends.

Is your boyfriend's Social Security number on the Form 1098 as well?

If so and he reports it, you do not need to report anything on your tax return.

Also, it may not make a difference if your itemized deductions (mortgage interest, property taxes, taxes, and charitable contributions) do not exceed the standard deduction amounts.

Depending upon your filing status, your standard deduction is either $12,200 if you are filing as single or $18,350 if you are able to file using the Head of Household filing status.
