I believe my taxes due are the incorrect amount because of an error in my filing however I am unable to clear/reset filing. Is there anyway to change the info?

If you need help correcting something, then start a thread in this forum explaining the issue, and someone may be able to assist you in entering the correct information into your product.   Otherwise, see the info below.

You asked:  "I am unable to clear/reset filing. Is there anyway to change the info?"

Have you actually filed a return--efiled or mailed?

If you haven't actually filed, but if you have already registered in Free Edition, you cannot "clear and start over".   You can go back to any topic and change/edit anything, however, prior to filing.  You just can't start over from scratch.

I see you also have a related question here:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4703885-am-i-required-to-file-through-turbotax-once-i-register-or-...

See my next comment below about the other free TurboTax product you might be able to use, which would require starting over.

Or if you need help correcting something in the return you've already prepared, then start a thread in this forum explaining the issue, and someone may be able to assist you in entering the correct information into your product.

TurboTax has 2 free products.  You appear to be using the regular Free Edition.  If you can't "clear and start over" the current return, you could start over in a new account and use Free Edition, but there is also another product option, which would also require a new account.

TurboTax has another free product called the TurboTax Free File Program.  It is free for both Federal and State--IF you meet just one of the qualifications.   It can handle all the usual forms without the limitations of regular Free Edition.

You have to meet only ONE of these qualifications:

1) 2018 AGI of $34,000 or less
or
2) Eligible for EIC (earned income credit)
or
3)  Active duty military including Reservists/ National Guard with military W-2 and 2018 AGI of $66,000 or less

See this FAQ for more info:

If you've already registered in Free Edition and can't clear your current account, you'd have to use a new account at the Free File Program website (new User ID) to use the Free File Program.  It will keep putting you back in regular Online TurboTax if you use your existing User ID.
