I amended my tax return (federal and state) now I owe taxes. How can I pay?

So, I received some documents after getting my federal and state (California) return. I amended my taxes (1040x and 540x) and I found out I owe some taxes back to federal and state. I wanted to pay by card, is this possible and just mail in the form? I say this because on the amended forms it says "you are paying by check" but what if I don't want to pay by check.

As long as you get the payment to them somehow, you will be fine.   You cant pay by credit card or auto electronic withdrawal by putting that information on a paper filed amended return.  If you don't want to send a check, you can use DirectPay on the IRS website
