I amended my return to add a dependent. This changes my state tax owed but not my federal tax. Do I submit only the 1040x or send all the rest of the schedules as well?

There are no changes to any of the schedules, or to my federal tax liability. The only change is to the "dependents" area of page 1 since I am itemizing.

You only need to submit the 1040X and the amended 1040. When you file an amended return, you only include the form(s) that have changed.
