I amended my return. It was accepted on 2/28. I'm supposed to get a refund but IRS refund tracker is not working + my Turbotax homepage has not updated the change

How do I track my amended return refund? Why is turbotax homepage not updating to reflect the amended change? I got confirmation the amendment was accepted

TurboTax does not track a tax refund.  The dates shown on the Tax Home page are only

estimates

based on the IRS target of sending a refund within 21 days after receiving the tax return.  This would only be for the original tax return.

There are no estimates for an amended return.

Go to this IRS website for the status of an amended tax return - https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return

The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Have you gotten anything yet from amending? I amended on 4/11 and have mixed answers with it taking a month or longer. Hoping to get it soon.

As stated on the IRS website for the status of an amended return - https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return

 

It’s taking us more than 20 weeks (instead of up to 16 weeks) to process amended returns. Do not file a second tax return or call the IRS.
