I amended my last return and it accidentally changed my married status to single. how to fix it?

I already sent the amendment and it said I get a return. But I am married. Is there a way to change the marital status before it is completely finished? Should I call the IRS and tell them about the mistake?

You will have to amend it again.  But wait before you do.  Let the IRS process the first two returns.  You should first receive the refund for the amendment before you file the next amendment.  The IRS often catches mistakes like this for you so that you don't need to do anything.  So give them a chance to do so.
