I amended a return and deducted mortgage interest and taxes from a second home. I printed out the papers. Do I mail all of them, or just the 1040X.

Do I need to attach the additional 1098, or just the 1040x, and 201x for the state? Do I need to mail all the papers turbo tax printed out including the 1040 and 201, or just the X version of each. I also originally filed electronically, can the amendment also be electronic or do I have to mail them in?

Yes, your 2023, 2022, or 2021 federal Form 1040-X amended return may be eligible for electronic filing if the original return was successfully e-filed using TurboTax.

Can I e-file my federal Form 1040-X amended return?

If you mail in your 1040X,include copies of any forms and/or schedules that you're changing or didn't include with your original return. In your case it is Schedule A.
