I am getting asked what is the with holding on my 2023 tax return? is that the total state taxes (OR) withheld from my W2 forms or federal taxes

If you had itemized deductions in 2023 you took the total state withholding as a tax deduction.

TurboTax is asking how much you had withheld from state taxes.
