I am attempting to amend my filing status and the process hangs at the "check my return" step. Anyone else having trouble?

We have not had any reported site-wide issues. Please try clearing your cookies and cache. For instructions, please click the following links: Clear Cookies - Clear Cache. If this does not work, I recommend clicking here to get in contact with customer care.

I had already tried clearing cookies and cache as suggested by another article on this message board.  That did not clear it up.  After getting on the phone with a very helpful representative, we were able to clear it up by first going back to the parts of the forms that it was attempting to review when it got hung.  By going through all of the questions manually (that I had already done the first time I filed and had not changed with the amendment), it did get past that step and I was able to print and file my return.

 

Basically, it was trying to check something again that had already been checked and getting hung.

 

I do wish to say that the phone support that I received was excellent and I work in tech and certainly understand how these hard to reproduce bugs happen!
