I already submitted my taxes but realize i need to add another w2 and now i owe money. is there a way to amend the tax and still fike for an extension?

You have already filed your return. There is no extension to file under this circumstance. An extension does not apply to an amended return.

You can file an Amended return after April 15, but you will want to pay the money owed today in order to avoid interest and penalties. Even an Extension only extends the time to file - not the time to pay.
