I already filed my taxes. I just received a 1098-E with a very large interest. I consolidated this school in the middle of 2017. Do I need to refile

Yes, since the student loan interest reported on Form 1098-E could impact your tax liability, you should file an amended return to include this information. 

We recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund (if any). The form needed to amend your 2017 tax return will not be available until February 8, 2018.
