I added another w2 after I already filed will I get the additional refund that was added?

Did you go through the amendment interview to add the additional W2? You cannot just add your W2 to your return after you filed, you need to amend it. Amended returns must be mailed.

If you did not go through the amendment interview you need to delete the additional W2, then amend your return.

Sorry, you did not say you amended your return. If you mailed in your amended return, it can take 8 to 16 weeks to be processed. Also, a refund on an amended return is sent by check. It is separate from your original refund.

You will receive the additional refund by check, on an amended return there is no direct deposit.

You state you amend Online which is how you do it but it has to be mailed in. 1040X for Federal
