I accidently entered my w-2s twice and transmitted my return. How do I amend?

You will need to wait before you amend.  Do Not make any changes to your original filed return.  The amended form in TurboTax until 3/25/21 (subject to change).  The IRS needs to approve TurboTax's form before they can include the form in the software.  The IRS suggests you wait until your original return is fully processed before you amend a return.  The IRS does get copies of all W-2's, they may send you a letter about the duplicate W-2.

 

You might also have to amend your State return if you filed one.
