I accidentally hit, "don't save" when closing Desktop Turbotax and now my file doesn't show up in Turbo Tax. Is there a way to recover this file?

Sorry no, with the Desktop version you have to save your return in order to have it on your computer.  Since you did not save it there is no way to recover the file.  You could see if TurboTax put a temp file in your TurboTax directory off of the Documents directory, it would have a ~ before the name.  You should be able to double click on it to open.
