I accidentally filed the Rita Tax what should I do?

Have you submitted your return(s) the IRS/Department of Revenue yet? 

Yes 🙃

You can prepare an amended RITA tax return to correct it as required. 

 

To do that, you will need to go online to complete it manually to reflect what changes are required. You will see a box on the top right of the form to indicate that the return is amended.

 

You just complete the amended return, sign it and mail it in. You will receive a refund of any overpaid taxes once the form is processed.
