I accidentally claimed my daughter

I accidentally claimed my daughter on my taxes. I thought putting her information in was it not actually claiming her. My spouse is the own that's supposed to claim her but mine is already e filed. Do I need to amend? What would be the best option for my spouse?

You mention a spouse...did you file Married Filing Separately and claim your child? I ask this because if you are married, you typically would file as Married Filing Jointly, and you both would claim the child as a dependent. The filing status with the best tax rate and the widest access to credits and deductions is Married Filing Jointly--just for reference.

Please advise the filing status you used and the filing status your spouse plans to use. This will help us resolve this for you.
