How to review the summary numbers for the current filing before I file?

Hello, I am done with the federal tax, but the amount due seems abnormally high. Before I file the tax, I need to get a list of the summary numbers (ones that appear on the 1040ES Form) for the current year to compare to last year's return. I am looking for Total Income, Adjusted Income, Taxable Income, Self-employment Tax, Tax already paid... Is there a way to get these numbers before I file?

You can preview Form 1040:

  1. Click on "Tax Tools" in the left menu
  2. Click "Tools"
  3. Click "View Tax Summary" in the Tool Center window
  4. Click on "Preview my 1040" on the left

Or you will have to download/print the forms but you will be required to pay:

  1. Click on "Tax Tools" in the left menu
  2. Click "Print Center"
