How to I go back to my 1040 for a correction prior to filing?

Sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Click on the box Wages and Income and then Review/Edit

OR -

To access your current year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

 

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return.  Click on Federal>Wages & Income

If you haven't filed your return then please follow these steps to add an IRA contribution:

 

1. Click "Deductions & Credits" (under Federal) on the left
2. Scroll down and click "Show more" next to "Retirement and Investments"
3. Scroll down and click "Start" next to "Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions"

 

If it states "Ready to mail" when you sign in then use these steps as DoninGA mentioned:

 

1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this opens the return back up)
5. Then follow the steps above.

This does not help!!!! I am using the online version of TurboTax.  I simply want to correct my 1040 prior to submitting.  I printed my rough draft of my 1040 in February and now the program will not allow me to open it again.  It will only allow me to complete an amendment.

 

Can someone help me?????

Change minor type on answer - change 2020 to 2022
