How to I change the depreciation method used by the program to match prior years?

The program is calculating depreciation on five years when I need 7. Also using DDB when I need 150%DB. How do I correct?

Was your tax return prepared by a tax professional last year and you are trying to enter the depreciable asset into TurboTax using the same methods?  Or something else?

In TurboTax Premium Online, the depreciation methods used are determined by the choices made at the screens Describe This Asset and Tell Us A Little More.  You may want to review the selections that were made at those screens.

However, at the screen Describe This Asset, you may select Intangibles, Other Property.  At the screen Tell Us A Little More, select Other asset type.  Then you are able to make specific selections.  The software warns Only select this option if you are well versed in the concept and rules of depreciation.
